On Sat. 18 Oct 2008, Hal was injurned when a propane explosion destroyed his home. Hal had burns over 60% of his body. He was released from Hennepin County Medical Center on May 26, 2009. A benefit will be held to help defray medical costs.
The Rutland T-Ball team has started its season. The boys and girls are doing well at their first practices under the guidance of coaches Luke Saunders and Ryan Siemieniewski.
