The Rutland City Council is submitting a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) application to the State of ND for $45,000 toward the Community Center renovation.
The application is for funds to help cover costs associated with the removal of barriers that currently inhibit the use of the Rutland Community Center by people with disabilities. The restrooms and entrance ramp are not currently up to ADA standards. Total project cost is estimated to be $125,722.45.
A public hearing is being held at 6:00 p.m. in the Rutland Community Center on Monday, February 7, 2011, to obtain citizen views and to respond to questions pertaining to the application.
