The Friendly Garden Club

The Friendly Garden Club will hold its monthly meeting on Monday, June 21, at 7:oo p.m. in the Rutland Bank Building.  Jeanne Leinen will present the lesson.  Members will also bring garden items for a show and tell exchange.  If you are interested in joining the group, drop by.  Refreshments will also be served.

Men’s Slowpitch Softball Tourney

The Rutland Park Board is sponsoring a Round Robin tournament on Saturday and Sunday, June 12 & 13, at the Lou Sanderson Field.  Six men’s slowpitch softball teams from Rutland, Forman, Havana, Enderlin, Wahpeton and Fargo will be participating in this year’s tournament.  The first pitch is scheduled to be thrown at 9 a.m. Saturday morning.  Fans [...]

NLC 125th Celebration

Memorial Day Program

The American Legion Bergman-Evenson Post and the Women’s Auxilary will host the Memorial Day event on Monday, May 31.   The ceremony will begin at 10:30 a.m. at the Rutland Cemetary followed by a program at City Hall starting at 11:00 a.m.  After the program, a lunch will be served.

Nordland Lutheran Church 125th Anniversary

Nordland Lutheran Church 125th anniversary celebration July 10 and 11.  Saturday, July 10, pie & ice cream social at church.  Light supper that evening.  Sunday, July 11, celebratory worship at 10:30 a.m. with dinner following at town hall.  Program back at church after dinner.
