Rutland Men’s Softball Game

The Rutland mens softball team will be sporting a new name this year. Dennis McLaen agreed to sponsor the team as long as they begin calling themselves the Rutland “Buzzards”. So, Buzzard season opened on Tuesday, May 19 in Rutland. I don’t know if a buzzard struts, but the Rutland Buzzards do as they were victorious in both games against Gwinner. Folks who purchased popcorn at the game were the first to sample it out of the new popcorn machine.
