The Rutland Community Club met Monday, January 5, 2010 at Rutland City Hall. American Legion Pancake Breakfast

Rutland Bergman/Evenson Post 215 will hold the annual Pancake Feed on Sunday, February 7, 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the Rutland Town Hall. Pancakes, Eggs, Sausage, Juice, Coffee will be available on a Free Will Offering. Supplement Funds are being provided by Thrivent. Kitchenware from Legion Hall will also be sold.

Ice Fishing Derby

The Cogswell Gun Club and Rutland Sportsmen’s Club will sponsor an ice fishing derby on Sunday, February 21, 2010, 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.  The derby will be held at Silver Lake with gates open at 10:00 a.m.  Entry fee is $10.00 and tickets may be purchased from any Club member. Pinochle Tournament

The 15th annual Rudy Anderson Pinochle Tournament, having begun in 1996, will be held Saturday, February 6, 2010.  Sister Judie is responsible for the idea.  She suggested doing something to honor our parents who loved pinochle plus we wanted to give something back to the special community who greatly nurtured us as we were growing up.  [...]
