The Rutland City Auditor performs many duties vital to the daily operations of the city. The Auditor prepares council meeting agendas; records and submits city council meeting minutes; prepares the city budget for Council approval; grants a variety of permits; sells licenses; manages requests to speak to the council; collects, organizes and maintains city records; and performs other duties assigned by the Mayor and/or the City Council.
The City Auditor is in the Office on Tuesday and Thursday, 10am to 2pm and on the first Monday of the month from 10am to 5 pm, and after the Council meeting, about 6-7 pm. Other times are as needed and by appointment. Please call first to be sure the Auditor is in (701) 724-3081.
